Check out this video of a local product not forgetting about the little people after he makes it big.
William Gholston, the former No. 1 football recruit in the state out of Detroit Southeastern who starred at Michigan State, is about to enter his third season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
About “five or six years ago,” according to Gholston, a Detroit gas station clerk help him out as he ran out of gas as a senior at Southeastern (which would have been the 2009-10 academic year if you’re counting).
Someone posted video on YouTube today of Gholston returning to that gas station and giving that same clerk $100.
A cool gesture from Gholston. Here’s the video, though we should warn you, it has a little salty language (and a dig on the Lions, but what’s new about that, right?).
