Looks like CeCe Jefferson is trying to wear as much Florida State clothing before the 2015 National Signing Day, too.
Just a week after his good friend Byron Cowart wore Florida State shorts and a lanyard during an interview with ESPN, Jefferson wore a FSU sweater.
Unlike Cowart, however, Jefferson doesn’t even have FSU in his list of final schools.
Jefferson — a five-star strong-side defensive end from Glen Saint Mary considered to be one of the Top 10 players in the country by 247Sports and ESPN — has Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss in his final five.
Both Cowart, Jefferson and Jacksonville Trinity Christian Academy linebacker Jeffery Holland took official visits to Auburn last weekend and have had thoughts of attending the same school.
Only Florida and Auburn make the cut for all three players.
“Yeah, we’re going to stick together,” Cowart said during an interview with AL.com. “We’ll all play at the same school, because we know we can make an impact. One guy can’t make a difference at a school, and I don’t think people understand that.
“You can be a great player, but you can’t make an impact going to a school by yourself. You have to have a team. Some guys have to go with you and turn the whole program around.”
