Grade: Senior
Height: 5-foot-8
Weight: 110 pounds

Athletic achievement: He raced to the Class 3A individual state championship this past season with a time of 15:01.8, leading the Lions to second place as a team. Khosla also broke the tape at the FSU Pre-State Invitational, the Bale-N-Trail Cross Country Original, the Carrolton Invitational, the Region 1 championships and the District 3 championships. He finished second at the Nike Cross Nationals Southeast Regional championships in 14:56.

Academic excellence: Khosla has maintained a 3.50 GPA.

Exemplary character: He has assisted in the building of a handicapped-accessible ramp in his community and has volunteered locally on behalf of area road races.

“Personally, I feel that Khosla is the best all-around distance runner that Florida has produced in the last three decades,” said Scott Gowan, head coach at Chiles High. “His marks in every event are outstanding and I don’t think he’s lost a race to another Florida athlete in his junior and senior years.”

THE FUTURE: Khosla remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
