Sept. 18 vs. Lexington: This game has been a close one the last two years with North Side winning both times. This year, it will be the Indians’ toughest test to that point in the early region schedule, and a win here for either team makes a statement.
Most important stretch
Weeks 7-11: The Indians have their bye week in the middle of four games that include the three teams in the region that won their districts last year and Haywood. Crockett County eliminated them in the playoffs last year, and the other three games – Hardin County, Haywood and Chester County – were all wins that were really close.
Oct. 9 at Hardin County: This is a game that’s always close and entertaining. The Indians beat the Tigers last year early in the season before the Tigers found their offensive identity. This game could go differently in 2015.
Predicted regular season record:
8-2. The Indians narrowly miss a home game for the first round of the playoffs.
