Former Purdue guard Bryson Scott will visit Jacksonville University on Tuesday.

There is a local tie at Jacksonville as the program is led by former IPFW coach Tony Jasick. Former IPFW and Butler assistant Dan Bere is also on Jasick’s staff.

Scott’s transfer decision could come following the visit. He averaged 6.2 points and 2.6 rebounds as a freshman at Purdue but saw his minutes diminish as a sophomore. He scored 2,042 points in high school.

After sitting out one year as a transfer, Scott will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
