Former White Plains standout Sean Kilpatrick is changing D-League teams.
According to FOX19, the 25-year-old was traded from Santa Cruz, the D-League affiliate of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, to Delaware, the affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers.
An All-American in his senior year at Cincinnati and the school’s second all-time leading scorer, Kilpatrick is averaging 11.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 22 games this season.
Kilpatrick played for Philadelphia in the NBA Summer League in July, averaging 11.5 points in six appearances.
Friday, Feb. 6 could prove to be a homecoming for Kilpatrick, as Delaware will visit the Westchester County Center to take on the Westchester Knicks.
Westchester also made a trade, acquiring 29-year-old guard Robert Vaden from Bakersfield in exchange for the rights to forward Josh Owens.
Vaden, a second-round pick by Charlotte in the 2009 NBA draft, is averaging 6.6 points and is shooting 44.8 percent on 3-pointers.
