Two-time Front Range League Player of the Year AJ Ott won his first tournament of the season Monday.

The senior at Fort Collins High School shot a 68 at Highland Hills Golf Course in Greeley, beating Fairview’s Daniel Pearson by two strokes to win the FRL match.

Monarch took first with a team score of 309. Fossil Ridge was third at 312, Fort Collins was fourth at 314, Poudre was 10th at 340 and Rocky Mountain was 13th at 366.

Fossil Ridge senior Noah Brownell tied for fifth at 76. Hunter Paugh (Fort Collins), Josh Caridi (Fossil Ridge) and Dillon Stewart (Fossil Ridge) tied for 11th at 78. Poudre’s Caleb Maxey tied for 16th at 79. Rocky Mountain’s best finisher was Antonio Campana at 33rd with a round of 85.
