Fossil Ridge golfer Kenzi Hueter will open the Class 5A state tournament at 10:18 a.m. Monday at the Olde Course in Loveland.

Four Fossil Ridge High School girls golfers will participate in the state tournament in their backyard.

The Class 5A girls golf state tournament begins Monday morning just south of Fort Collins at the Olde Course in Loveland.

Fossil Ridge has the only four local participants, with Cammie Fowler, Kenzi Hueter, Kayla Elder and Paige Gentry competing.

The tournament is Monday and Tuesday, with competitors playing one round each day.

Hueter and Fowler were in the state tournament last year, with Hueter finishing tied for 46th at 39 strokes over par. Fowler was tied for 54th at 44 strokes over par.

Fowler tees off at 10:09 a.m. Monday. Heuter’s tee-time is 10:18, Elder’s is 10:27 and Gentry’s is 10:36. All four start on hole No. 10.
