Brennan Sobiesk booted a 34-yard field goal as time expired to give Oak Grove the win. The Warriors (6-1) scored touchdowns on passes from Alex Ward to Dwayne Lee and Kendall Parham and a blocked punt by Trevelle Carey that he recovered in the Meridian end zone.

Senior WR and CB was a standout on both sides of the ball, including a 61-yard TD reception with 7:05 to play to tie the game at 21-21.

The drive to that set up the winning field goal was kept alive when Lee ran for a first down on fourth-and-6 on a fake punt.

Reid Fracchia ran 75 yards with a blocked field goal attempt for a JA touchdown, Ford Adams caught a 16-yard scoring pass from Davis Simmons, and Langston Anderson scored a clinching fourth-quarter TD on a 45-yard run for the Raiders (3-5). Seth Dearman carried 14 times for 112 yards and scored East Rankin’s lone TD on a 10-yard run in the third quarter to pull the Patriots (5-3) within 14-7.

Playing both ways, Adams ran for a team-high 80 yards, caught a 16-yard TD pass, made nine tackles and blocked a field goal attempt.

Adams blocked a 32-yard field goal attempt by Hayden Hawk and Fracchia returned it 75 yards for the first score.
