Silver Creek has never advanced to a sectional final.
The Dragons opened the regular season with a 32-28 win over the Owls. Silver Creek rallied from a 22-12 deficit as Noah Jones ran for 133 yards and Jacob Garrett added 114 rushing yards.
The Owls, who haven’t won a sectional title since 2001, feature sophomore quarterback Alan Perry, who has thrown for 1,950 yards and 21 TDs this season . The winner will face either East Central (8-2) or Shelbyville (9-1) in the sectional final.
