Last week: Fourth-year varsity member long jumped 16 feet-10 inches and went 35-111/2 in the triple jump at the R-H Relays.
The triple jump is the second-best of the season in Section V. She has the top triple in the spring, 37 feet. The 2015 Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Girls Indoor Track Team member qualified for the state championships for the first time this past winter.
Academics: 4.7 on a 4.5 GPA scale. She has passed four Advanced Placement classes.
About me: “I was a gymnast. Once I quit gymnastics I had more time do other things. I like to run.” … Also was an outside hitter with Spencerport volleyball through her junior season, a soccer defender through her sophomore year … Her personal best triple jumps are 37-3 indoors at The College at Brockport and 37 feet outdoors at Spencerport earlier this month … When it comes to the long jump, her best performances are 17-5 indoors during the state meet qualifier at Rochester Institute of Technology and 17-01/4 during the outdoor sectionals. … “I have a passion for poetry.
