
Oshkosh West’s Sydney Steinmetz hits the ball on No. 14 Saturday morning during the Fond du Lac Invitational at Rolling Meadows.
FOND DU LAC – The Oshkosh West girls golf team tied for fifth place in the Fond du Lac Invitational, which was held at Rolling Meadows Golf Course Saturday.
The Wildcats tied Cedarburg with a 358 and was led by Jordann Handy, who fired an 83 to finish tied for eighth.
Hartland Arrowhead won the invite with a 331, followed by Homestead (336), Fox Valley Lutheran (339) and Hartford Union (345).
Oshkosh North was 14th out of the 19 teams with a 425.
Reagan Beyer was 14th overall for West with an 85. Sydney Steinmetz and Gina Krause added a 95 for the Wildcats.
Oshkosh North was led by Emily Daun who fired a 98 while Anna Smits fired a 102. Morgan Dunbar came in with a 104.
Beaver Dam’s Ashley Kulka was medalist with a one-over 73.
