England Bennett had a big night for the Pennfield girls’ basketball team, and the Panthers utilized it by coming away with a 55-52 home victory over Coldwater in Interstate 8 action.
Bennett finished the contest with 21 points to go with nine rebounds and two assists. Also for the Panthers (4-3, 2-1 I-8), Kayler Beech had 11 points.
Coldwater falls to 3-5 overall.

Also for the Bearcats (4-5), Jamisha Smith had a double-double with a season-high 15 points and 10 rebounds; and Madisonn Jackson had seven points and eight rebounds. 4-5.
(At) Marshall 68, Parma Western 19: Jill Konkle led Marshall with 14 points in the victory. Also for the Redhawks (7-1, 3-0 I-8), Emily Delmotte had 13 points; Logan Kiessling had 10 points; Nikki Tucker had nine points, nine rebounds and six steals; and Carlee Long had five points and five assists.

(At) Perry 48, Olivet 33: Teona Feldpausch had 11 points and Sarah Sharp added eight for Olivet, which falls to 5-3 overall.
(At) Lansing Christian 50, Maple Valley 20: Emma McGlocklin finished with seven points in the loss for Maple Valley.
