The second NYSSWA state rankings came out yesterday, with some Section 1 teams making moves in them.
North Rockland remains third on the Class AA list, while Suffern jumped up from an honorable mention to the 11th spot. Arlington remains 14th, while John Jay-East Fishkill made the rankings for the first time this year as an honorable mention.
Still unbeaten, Somers still has a firm grasp on the top spot of the Class A rankings. Pearl River still sits at 14th in the rankings, but as the list was compiled to only include games up to Saturday, I’d only assume they will climb the rankings after their win over North Rockland on Monday. Byram Hills remains on the list as an honorable mention.
In Class B, Bronxville remains at the three-spot, while Albertus Magnus went up from the 13th spot to 12th in the rankings.
Haldane remains the top-ranked team in Class C, while North Salem fell from 11th last week to completely off the list.
