New Brunswick 11, Wardlaw-Hartridge 4: Wilson Gomez and Anthony Peralta collected two hits and two runs apiece for the Zebras (8-13), while teammate David Rosario went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Gage Torres went 2-for-2 with a run scored for New Brunswick. Gomez finished with three RBI.

The Rams fell to 11-10.

Spotswood 17, Dunellen 3: Chase Fee went 4-for-5 with three RBI for the Chargers (18-9), while teammates Nick LoGatto and Jake Ryan each went 3-for-4 with a combined six RBI.

Matt Krause doubled twice and scored three times for Spotswood. Greg Welsh scored four runs against Dunellen (19-8).

Bishop Ahr 1, New Drop (N.Y.) 0: Andrew Tuzzo’s two-out single in the sixth inning scored V.J. Makris as the Trojans (16-6) improved their record to 3-2 against out-of-state competition in a game played Monday night at Staten Island’s Richmond County Ballpark, home of the New York Yankees Class A affiliate.

Winning pitcher Anthony Porcehtta (4-1) allowed two hits, fanned two and walked one over five innings. Jimmy Mesaros, who went 2-for-2, pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the save.

Mesaros fanned three, walked none and allowed two hits. New Drop was outhit 8-4.
