GALLATIN The Hendersonville High School golf team defeated Rossview by 58 strokes in a match played on Thursday afternoon at Foxland Harbor Golf and Country Club.

Commando sophomore Bryce Lewis shot a nine-hole round of 34, and senior teammates Charles Seals and Austin Lancaster posted scores of 35 and 36.

Hunter Belvin led the Hawks with a round of 44.

Bison down PJP II

GALLATIN The Station Camp High boys golf team defeated Pope John Paul II by 11 strokes in a match played on Thursday afternoon at Long Hollow Golf Course.

Senior Jordan Powell and junior Jordan Webb led the Bison with nine-hole rounds of 39.

Knight junior Chase McKissack had the best round of the day, shooting 36.

Blue Devils fall to East Robertson

FRANKLIN, Ky. The White House High boys golf team fell by 21 strokes in a match with East Robertson on Wednesday afternoon at Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Golf Course.

Senior Levi Lorenzo shot a nine-hole round of 34 to lead the Indians.

Blue Devils senior Jake Jarvis posted a score of 41.

Hawk golfers place second

GALLATIN The Merrol Hyde Magnet boys golf team placed second on Wednesday afternoon in matches played at Long Hollow Golf Course.

The Hawk boys finished 23 strokes back of Martin Luther King Magnet.

Senior Oliver Gore led the Royals with a nine-hole round of 36, and Jo Byrns junior Nicholas Henderson – who was competing as an individual since the Red Devils didn’t have enough golfers to field a team – shot 39.

Merrol Hyde Magnet sophomore Jonathan Caldwell and junior Adam Frank posted scores of 41 and 43, respectively.

The Lady Hawks finished 20 strokes back of MLK.

Zoe Robinson led the Lady Royals with a round of 44, and Jo Byrns senior Haleigh Riley shot 48.
