Former Reynolds pitcher Sam Runion is enjoying one of the best stretches of his professional baseball career.
Runion is 3-0 with four saves and a 0.75 earned-run average in his last 10 games for the Double-A Harrisburg (Pa.) Senators. The right-hander was the winning pitcher Tuesday night as Harrisburg won 2-1 at Richmond (Va.).
Runion graduated from Reynolds in 2007. Harrisburg is a Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
