Claire Lamb won the 1,600 (5:12.84) to lead the Blue Aces to a runner-up finish Saturday in the Central District Division I indoor meet at Otterbein.

Gahanna edged out Granville 65-64 for the team title, winning the final event by one one-hundredth of a second. Michaela DeGenero, Destiny Braden, Maddie Long and Riley Bruck won the 3,200 relay (9:50.10).

Placing second were Natalie Price in the 400 (59.88), Cassidy Carey in the 800 (2:25.42) and the 1,600 relay (4:08.21). Watkins’ 800 relay placed second (1:48.84) to lead the Warriors to a third-place team finish.

In the boys meet, Watkins’ Desmond Melson in the 400 (51.69) and Andrew Jordan in the 1,600 (4:27.89) each won individual titles to lead the Warriors to a runner-up team finish.

Watkins’ 800 relay (1:35.04) and Jarod Worcester in the pole vault (13-feet-0) each finished second.

Licking Heights’ Curtis Richardson won the high jump (6-4).
