Miami Heat center Greg Oden goes through pregame warmups prior to the game against the Indiana Pacers inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in Indianapolis.

According to a report by RealGM.com, former IndyStar Mr. Basketball Greg Oden will sign a one-year, $1.2 million deal with Chinese Basketball Association’s Jiangsu Dragons.

Oden led Lawrence North High School to three consecutive state championships and reached a Final Four in one season at Ohio State. He was the No. 1 overall draft pick over Kevin Durant in 2007, but injuries and personal trouble have dogged him as a pro. He last played in the NBA for the Miami Heat in 2013-14.

His attempted an NBA comeback this summer with workouts for the Charlotte and Dallas, but did not receive a contract offer.
