Familiar faces remain in Week 10 of the Super 25 Boys Lacrosse rankings provided by 3d Rising, with Haverford Prep owning the No. 1 position for the seventh consecutive week. The Havs will play conference rival Malvern Prep on Friday, a team they beat by 10 goals back in April.
New York’s reigning Class A champion Massapequa rolled over East Meadow (N.Y.) 17-4 and will wrap up the regular season this weekend against Oceanside (N.Y.). With 54 points on the season, Ryan Tierney, son of Hofstra coach Seth Tierney, looks to lead strongly-favored Massapequa to an undefeated 15-0.
St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Alexandria, Va.) made heads turn the past two weeks and now crash into the Super 25 at No. 17. Despite back-to-back losses in the middle of the season, the Saints earned their second major victory this season, upsetting No. 10 Georgetown Prep (Md.) 8-6. Though they then fell to No. 14 Bullis (Md.) on Thursday, St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes still hold an impressive 15-3 record.
Other newcomers to the Super 25 this week include No. 24 Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, Calif.) and No. 25 Lynbrook (N.Y.).
