Farmington Harrison competed well in an OAA White Division swim meet, but the Royal Oak girls came out ahead in the final tally Thursday, 94-82.

Harrison freshman Ashley Turak achieved state cuts in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events, winning both with times of 24.80 and 55.09 seconds.

Senior Julia Borri won the 100 breaststroke (1:11.32) and qualified for the Oakland County meet in the 200 individual medley with a second-place time of 2:19.83.

Junior Grace Xu and freshman Dayna Borregard will compete in the MISCA meet in the 100 butterfly and IM, respectively.

Xu was second in the butterfly (1:05.29) and Borregard third in the IM (2:23.22).

Sophomore Hailey Stewart was the runner-up in the 200 and 500 freestyle with times of 2:08.92 and 5:50.78.

The Hawks also had second-place swims from senior Katie Romero in the 50 freestyle (26.56) and junior Sydney Poisson in the 100 backstroke (1:10.20).

Borri and Romero anchored Harrison victories in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, respectively. Turak, Xu and Stewart were the first three swimmers in both races.

The Hawks went 1:45.91 in the 200 and lost to the Ravens by one hundredth of a second in the 400 with a time of 3:51.41.

Poisson, Borregard, Romero and Borri also won the 200 medley relay for Harrison with a swim of 1:59.59.
