Showdown: Blaze battle Pats in key region game
MURFREESBORO — Oakland football coach Kevin Creasy called them a “two-headed monster” in Blackman’s backfield earlier this week.

Quarterback Miller Armstrong and running back Taeler Dowdy have accounted for 81 percent of Blackman’s total offense and 44 percent of the Blaze’s total points through four games this season.
However, the fifth-ranked Blaze (3-1 overall, 1-0 in Region 2-6A) face a big challenge at 7 p.m. Friday when they play second-ranked Oakland (2-1, 1-0) at Ray Hughes Stadium.
