Bay is making its fourth postseason trip and its second in a row … The Rockets are a 24-21 loss to Rocky River away from a perfect season … The defense has pitched two shutouts and didn’t allow double figures in points in six games … They shared the Great Lakes Conference championship with Rocky River and Parma Heights Holy Name.

Galion is making its eighth trip into the postseason and its fourth in a row … Since back-to-back losses, the Tigers have won five straight, outscoring opponents by an average of 47-15 in that stretch … Galion has run for 113 first downs, while allowing just 52 by the ground … Since being inserted into the lineup at quarterback, Chase Cooke is 69-for-120 passing for 1,121 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Delta is making an eighth trip to the playoffs and its second in a row … The Panthers play in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League where it went 4-3 … The Panthers own a win over playoff-bound Wauseon … Their losses have been to Tinora 24-14, Patrick Henry 22-14, Liberty Center 31-21 and Swanton 23-14.


Wynford is making its 14th appearance in the postseason and its 10th trip in 11 seasons … The Royals won the Northern 10 Athletic Conference outright championship, and is riding a nine-game winning streak … Wynford was No. 1 in the conference in scoring and scoring defense at 40.4 and 8.4 respectively … The defense gives up just 89 yards on the ground and 63.6 through the air.

Colonel Crawford is appearing in just its third postseason, but its third in four seasons … The Eagles only loss was to Wynford and finished second in the Northern 10 … CC led the N10 in rushing with 301.5 yards per game and averaged 39.4 points … The defense allows 17.2 points a night … The offense averages 8.7 yards per play … The Eagles have score 38 or more points over its last seven games.

Fredericktown is making its eighth playoff appearance, its second in a row and its sixth since 2006 … The Freddies shared the Mid Oho Athletic Conference Blue Division championship with Highland … Fredericktown has run for 2,777 yards and passed for 1,241 more, plus it has scored 49 touchdowns … The defense has produced 10 interceptions and 10 fumble recoveries.


Fort Frye is making its fourth postseason trip and its third since 2012, but it has yet to win a playoff game … The Cadets were No. 7 in the final Division VI AP state poll … They play in the Pioneer Valley Conference … The defense didn’t allow double digits in six games … It beat four teams with .500 or better records this year, including a 15-9 victory over 9-1 Caldwell.

Hilltop is making its making it third postseason trip and its first since 2008 … The Cadets have never won a playoff game … Hilltop comes into Lucas riding a four-game losing streak and three of those four teams had losing records … The Cadets play in the Buckeye Border Conference in extreme northwest Ohio.


Lucas is making its fourth playoff appearance, its second in a row and its first as a playoff host … Mason Galco finished with 25 touchdowns and 155 points after running for 1,655 yards for a 7.96 yards per carry average … The Cubs have 15 interceptions on defense and seven fumble recoveries … Ryan Cook reached the century mark with 100 tackles this season.
