Provided school is in session in Greenville County on Friday, a schedule has been established to get the high school basketball playoffs back in order.
In Class AAAA, Spring Valley is scheduled to play at Hillcrest and Blythewood at Wade Hampton. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday.
The winners would then play for the Upper State championship at 7 p.m. Monday at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. That game originally was scheduled for Saturday night.
Friday’s schedule at the BSW Arena has been canceled. Both AAAA Upper State finals had been scheduled for Friday. With only the one game left to be played, and with both girls teams — Dutch Fork and Spring Valley — from the Columbia area, that game has been moved to Dreher at 7 p.m.
In Class AAA, again provided school is in session Friday, Southside will play A.C. Flora at 7 p.m. in their third-round game. The winner will play Lower Richland at 8:30 p.m. Monday at BSW Arena.
Lower Richland, in its first season under former Eastside assistant Mark Burnitz, defeated Dreher 55-53 on Tuesday night to advance to the Upper State final.
