Ben Hall led four Corning boys bowlers with 600 series’ in a 4-1 victory over Horseheads Monday in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference boys match at Rossi Lanes in Elmira.
Hall had a 644 series with a match-high 257 game. Donovan Austin Reed rolled a 630 series, Anthony Evans a 625 and Derik Lisi a 606 series. John Pabis contributed a 246 game for the Hawks.
Alex Lowman led the Blue Raiders with a 246 game. Corning held a total pinfall advantage of 3,087 to 2,851.
Thomas A. Edison 4, Watkins Glen 0: At Rossi Lanes, Zach Braster rolled a 679 series to lead the Spartans to an Interscholastic Athletic Conference win. Dylon Gleason added a 638 series and Ben Weber had a match-high 244 game. Wrett Brower rolled a 226 game for the Senecas.
Notre Dame 3, Union Springs 1: At Starlite Lanes in Auburn, Alex Sherman had a 659 series to lead the Crusaders to an IAC win. Mathew Dieg addeda 624 series. Both Sherman and Dieg had 236 games.
Horseheads 5, Corning 0: At Rossi Lanes, Abby Fish rolled a 611 series with a 233 game to lead the Blue Raiders to a STAC win. Steph Sawyer and Taylor Waters-Frost each had a 555 series while Michelle Williams added a 548 series.
Kellie Abbey scored a 553 series for the Hawks and Krystian Rumiano had a 221 game.
Notre Dame 4, Union Springs 0: At Starlite Lanes in Auburn, Abigail Fell De-Walt led the Crusaders to a an IAC win with a 515 series.
Watkins Glen 4, Thomas A. Edison 0 (forfeit): At Rossi Lanes, the Senecas took an IAC win as Edison did not have a team due to school obligations. Samantha Bradley had a 549 series and a team-high 204 game for Watkins Glen.
