The road toward the Central Section Division II boys and girls soccer championships should go through Visalia.
The Central Section announced its 2015 soccer playoff brackets on Saturday, and two Visalia teams received No. 1 seeds in Division II — the Golden West boys and the Redwood girls.
Golden West, the West Yosemite League champion, received a first-round bye and will host the winner of Wednesday’s Division first-round match between No. 9 Tulare Western and No. 8 El Diamante on Friday.
Monache is the No. 5 seed in the Division II Bracket.
Despite winning the outright East Yosemite League championship, Tulare Union received the No. 4 seed in Division III. Porterville, which finished third in the EYL, is the No. 1 seed.
Tulare Union received a first-round bye. The Redskins will host the winner of Wednesday’s match between No. 12 Highland and No. 5 Mt. Whitney in Friday’s quarterfinal round.
Dinuba is the No. 2 seed.
In Division IV, Lindsay is the No. 3 seed, and Orosi is No. 6.
Exeter is the No. 3 seed in Division VI. The Monarchs host No. 6 Strathmore on Friday.
Redwood leads a loaded Tulare County contingent in Division II. The Rangers will host the winner of Tuesday’s match between No. 8 Mt. Whitney and No. 9 CVC on Thursday.
Co-EYL champion Tulare Western is the No. 4 seed, and it hosts No. 13 San Joaquin Memorial on Tuesday.
Tulare Union is the No. 6 seed, and El Diamante is the No. 15 seed. The Redskins host No. 11 Bakersfield on Tuesday, and the Miners visit No. 2 Madera South.
Co-EYL champion Mission Oak is the No. 2 seed in Division III. The Hawks host the winner of the first-round match between No. 10 Tehachapi and No. 7 Golden West (that match is Tuesday at Golden West) in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
Strathmore is the No. 1 seed in Division IV. Woodlake is the No. 8 seed in Division V.
Farmersville is the No. 1 seed in an eight-team Division VI field.
