After heading into the third period trailing Toms River North by a goal, Central Regional scored four to top the Mariners 7-5 in this non-divisional meeting, and secure the program’s fourth consecutive victory.
Sophomore winger Mike Mania recorded his first career hat trick for the Golden Eagles (9-5-0) in that third period while delivering the third assist of the night on Dylan Jenkins’ 22nd goal of the year.
Jenkins scored two goals and assisted on three more and now has 49 points on the year, overtaking St. John Vianney’s Matt Kidney, who has 48, for the Shore Conference lead.

Freehold Township’s Nick Raiola made 14 saves, while his counterpart Mike Corella stopped 27 shots.
Kislin and Max Halvorsen combined on what could be the goal of the year to end the second period and send the Patriots into the intermission with a 3-2 lead. Check out video of the goal courtesy of Shore Sports Zone in the link below.
