Hold off on calling Joey Bosa's 5-star little brother, Nick, a Buckeye just yet

Most analysts assume that Nick Bosa, the five-star defensive end who happens to be the younger brother of Ohio State superstar Joey Bosa, will follow his brother’s footsteps to Columbus, where he, too, could wreak havoc on the defensive line. They might want to hold off on those predictions.

That’s the younger Bosa, on the left, next to his high school teammate and Florida quarterback commit Jake Allen. The two St. Thomas Aquinas stars are both “performing” the Gator chomp. They look happy … and large (those have to be 9-foot ceilings, right?).

Sure, Bosa may have only gone Gator chomping after prodding from Allen, but he clearly didn’t hate the experience because he re-tweeted Allen’s photo himself.

Should any of this be taken as an indication that Bosa is going to end up at Florida? Absolutely not. Does it mean that he might not be quite such a lock to pick Ohio State? That all depends on whether anyone thought he was a lock to land in Columbus in the first place.

Yes, the Bosa brothers are close, and Nick is surely proud of Joey and his teammates winning the national title in January. But at the end of the day, Bosa is still a teenager, and he’s deserving of just as much leeway and freedom to make his own decisions, whether they land him in a Buckeye uniform or not.

And remember…this isn’t the first time Bosa has teased us all via Twitter.
