Jake Fromm tweeted hours before his official announcement to commit to the University of Alabama’s football program.

Houston County high school’s quarterback made his college commitment official on Saturday.

Jake Fromm plans to take his college snaps at the University of Alabama.

The junior lights up scoreboards and stat sheets for Houston County, with over 6,200 yards through the air, and 54 touchdown strikes to this point in his career.

His announcements came on twitter (@FrommJake), cryptically saying “hopefully committing soon…” just after noon. After a report from Inside Bama Recruiting Saturday evening, Fromm fired his official tweet that night, complete with elephant emojis.
