MILTON – Cait Dabagian scored twice and host Milton built a two-goal halftime lead en route to a 4-1 victory over Middlebury in high school girls soccer action Tuesday.
Freshman Tatum had a goal and an assist and Kaleigh Goulette also tallied for Milton (6-1). Madison North made one save.
Andrea Boe had Middlebury’s goal.
• Rice 6, Vergennes 0: A four-goal first half, paced by Sarah Boland’s two goals, pushed visiting Rice past Vergennes.
Margot Rathke assisted Boland’s goal and also tallied later in the half off a direct kick for Rice. Saige Alpeter, Haley Mitiguy and Grace Miller fired in unassisted tallies for 4-2 Rice.
Vergennes’ Anya Sonwaldt made 11 saves. The Rice tandem of Abi Jacunski and Hannah combined on eight saves.
• BFA-St. Albans 4, North Country 3 (OT): Makenna Larrow scored five minutes into the first overtime and host BFA-St. Albans edged North Country.
Keannah Dunsmore scored an equalizer early in the second half and then assisted a pair of Hannah Letourneau goals for BFA (4-3).
Jessie Casey made three saves for BFA. Roxann Downing had nine for North Country.
• Craftsbury 3, Winooski 2: Emily Smyth scored two unassisted goals in the second half and visiting Craftsbury rallied past Winooski.
Marie Ly and Riley Corrigan had first-half goals for Winooski and Amna Cicak made four saves.
Cheyenne Drapper opened the scoring for Craftsbury and Paige Coolbeth turned back five shots.
• Mount Abraham 6, Missisquoi 0: Lydia Pitts notched a hat trick – all three goals coming in the second half – and host Mount Abraham blanked Missisquoi.
Anna Hauman gave the Eagles a 1-0 half time lead while Abby Mansfield and Genysis Berube also tallied.
Kamille Snell worked a one-save shutout for Mount Abraham, which played without four starters due to injury or sickness.
Jenna Bourdeau had six stops for MVU.
• Lake Region 2, Hazen 2: All goals were scored in the second half as host Hazen and Lake Region forged a draw.
Kagan Beachum and Becca Whipple tallied for Hazen; Molly Horton and Jenan Charland notched Lake Region’s goals.
Hunter Cota stopped 10 shots for Lake Region (3-3-1), one more save than Evlyn Hislop made for Hazen (1-4-2).
• St. Johnsbury 3, Spaulding 2: Katherine Cowan scored on a direct kick with four minutes left and St. Johnsbury left Spaulding with a narrow win.
Lia Rotti and Grace Cooke also notched goals, the latter serving as the equalizer midway through the second half.
Jessica Scott and Jackie Lowe had Spaulding’s goals and Lindsey LaPan made 15 saves.
For St. Johnsbury, Audra Shield-Taylor stopped seven shots.
•Northfield 1, Lyndon 0: Courtney Amell found the back of the net in the 34th minute and Jordan Chamberlin worked a nine-save shutout to power host Northfield’s win over Lyndon.
Marek Upton made seven saves for the Vikings.
•Thetford 2, Randolph 1 (OT): Visiting Thetford struck for the decisive tally in the 99th minute to topple Randolph.
Taylor Hollis netted the winner while Regan Covey snatched a late equalizer for the Panthers to force the extra session, tallying with 55 seconds left in regulation.
Emily Grady scored for the 2-5 Galloping Ghosts and Kiara Nonemacher stopped nine shots.
•Oxbow 1, Danville 0 (OT): Natalie Barton’s first goal of the season lifted visiting Oxbow to an overtime win against Danville.
Barton struck in the 93rd minute for the Olympians (4-2-1) and Kaysea Neil finished with four saves.
Lauren Young posted 15 saves for the Indians.
•Rivendell 2, Chelsea 1 (OT): Meghan Boardman broke the deadlock five minutes into overtime to tip Rivendell past host Chelsea.
Quenla Haehnel also scored for the Raptors, while Corrie Lyndes made eight stops in net.
Eliza Amber equalized for the Red Devils (3-4) three minutes after Haehnel’s opening tally. Fiona Michlman stacked up 10 saves for the hosts.
H.S. FIELD HOCKEY
•Rice 2, Colchester 1: Sierra Combs had a goal and an assist in Rice’s home win over Colchester.
Erin Scott also scored and Emily Rachek did not record a save in net for the Green Knights.
Colchester’s Kelsi Wallace tallied and Abby Ladd collected 19 saves.
H.S. BOYS SOCCER
•Stowe 2, U-32 1 (OT): Chris Mullin, moved up to striker for the overtime period, struck for the winner off a feed from Chad Haggerty and Stowe edged U-32.
Gabe Eliason had the tying goal for Stowe in regulation and Mark Infante made two saves.
Vermilya Deshiell tallied and Derek Cote stopped nine shots for U-32.

•New Haven 1, St. Michael’s 0: Marisa Garcia broke the scoreless deadlock in the 68th minute to lift visiting New Haven to a win over St. Michael’s in Northeast-10 play.
Megan LeCours finished with a season-best nine saves for the Purple Knights (1-5-1 league, 0-4 league).
