Michael Steppe had five goals, Michael McIntyre had two goals and two assists and Liam Ferguson had three assists as the Wall boys lacrosse team defeated Red Bank, 10-8, in a nondivisional game on Wednesday afternoon. Zachary Harrell had 10 saves and Lucas Iarossi added one goal, one assist and six ground balls.
Red Bank’s Brian Fagan had three goals and one assist and three ground balls, Cole Smolokoff had three goals and one ground ball and Jon Pierce made nine saves.
Manasquan 7, Freehold Township 6: Chris Klodowski (two goals, one assist), scored with 30 seconds left to tie it up in regulation and Jarrett Birch (two goals) scored the game winner with 1:22 left in the overtime for the Manasquan (3-1). Freehold Township’s Billy Sasso had three goals for the Patriots (2-1). Manasquan’s Tom Pollack had 10 saves and Matt Schroepfer had 11 saves.
Jackson Memorial 9, Brick Memorial 8: Troy Wolf (four goals) scored the game winning goal with 2:40 left in the fourth quarter as the Jaguars (1-0, 1-0) defeated the Mustangs (1-1, 0-1) in a Class A South game. The Jaguars played man-down for the last 2:30 and rallied for the victory. Wolf also had three assists and Jared Calhoun had two goals and one assist. Brick Memorial’s Dylan Visser recorded two goals and two assists and Chris Harvey and Mike Mowder each had two goals.

Shore 7, Toms River North 6: James Bedell scored two of his three goals in the third quarter as the Blue Devils (1-1) pulled ahead for a 6-1 lead. Doug Goldsmith added two goals and 14 grounds balls and won 11 of 15 faceoffs and Max Sobrano added a goal and Hunter Avallone made 10 saves.
Barnegat 12, Lacey 5: J.J. McKenna had five goals, Matt Manno added two goals and Joe Jinks had two assists as the Bengals (2-0, 1-0) defeated the Lions (1-1, 0-1) in a nondivisional game. Lacey’s Tim Gleason had two goals and two assists.
St. Rose 14, Long Branch 0: Matt Frost had two goals two assists and scored his 150th career point as the Purple Roses (1-2) edged the Green Wave (1-2).
Donovan Catholic 12, Toms River East 2: Donvan Catholic’s Hunter Macphearson had two goals and one assist, Pete Schlendorf had seven goals and one assist and Matt Baltus had three goals and three assists.

Barnegat 13, Lacey 8: Nicole Federovitch had four goals and one assist and Christina SanGiacomo had three goals and one assist as the Bengals (2-0) edged the Lions (0-1). Lacey’s Emily Lane had three goals and one assist and Rachele Cort had two goals.
Toms River North 11, Toms River East 5: Meghan Kazanowski had four goals and Taylor Melillo had two goals as the Mariners (1-0, 1-0) defeated the Raiders (0-1, 0-1) in a Class A South game. Toms River East’s Sarah Kunzman had two goals.
St. John Vianney 17, Neptune 2: St. John Vianney’s (4-0) Shaine Sauter had five goals, Gianna DeMato had four goals and two assists and Jessica Manigrasso had three goals and one assist. Neptune’s Camryn Blanda and Faith Eichenour each had a goal.
Donovan Catholic 14, Brick 12: Madison Marko had five goals and one assist and Emma Rhoades had three goals as the Griffins defeated the Green Dragons in a nondivisional game. Brick’s Taylor Geddes (five goals) scored her 100th career goal at 10:25 of the first half. It was her third goal of the first half. She now has 102 career goals.
Jackson Liberty 8, Point Boro 7: Melanie Patterson had all three of her goals in the first half and had one assist and Mackenzie Staffordsmith had two goals as the Lions (1-0) edged the Panthers (0-1) in a nondivisional game. Shannon Duffy made 14 saves in her first varsity start. Point Boro’s Lauren Onnembo had all three of her goals in the second half and one assist and Nicole Favato had two goals.
Howell 12, Brick Memorial 6: Howell’s Gabby Boller had three goals, Reese Parr had three goals and three assists and Jordan Chan had three goals and one assist as the Rebels defeated the Mustangs in a nondivisional game. Brick Memorial’s Kerri Anderson and Sydney Burns each had two goals.
East Brunswick 9, Middletown North 5: Angela Costanzo and Alex Kalafor each scored three goals and added an assist to lead East Brunswick (3-1). Dom Perotta stopped 18 shots for the Bears.

Southern 2, CBA 0: The Rams won 25-21, 25-15 as Jake Logue had 12 kills and five digs, Liam Maxwell had nine kills, two blocks and nine digs and Mike Sprague had 22 assists and seven digs.
Lacey 2, Toms River South 1: The Lions (1-0) won 25-27, 25-21, 25-14 as Joe Ulrich had 19 kills and seven blocks and Doug Sedyn had two blocks and 33 assists. The Indians (0-1) Ryan Casey had 25 assists, three blocks and four kills and Francis Hearne had 10 kills, two blocks and nine digs.
Red Bank Catholic 2, Freehold 1: The Caseys’ (1-0) won 25-11, 23-25, 25-22 as Tyler Connolly had three kills, four digs, 25 assists and Ike Isenhour 13 kills, 21 digs and four aces. Freehold’s (0-1) Riley Shea had 10 kills, Harry Biddle had eight kills, three digs and two aces.
Central 2, Colts Neck 1: Mike DelVecchio had 11 kills and four digs and Nick Ropas added four kills, four digs and 12 assists as the Golden Eagles rallied for a 24-26, 27-25, 25-15 victory. Colts Neck’s Chris LoMauro had 15 kills and Lucas Inglis had two kills, two digs and 26 assists.
Wall 2, Toms River North 1: The Crimson Knights (1-0) won 25-23, 12-25, 25-21 as Brady Donahue had eight kills, three blocks and three digs and Eddie Palluzi had six kills and four blocks and Pat Cole had 23 assists. Toms River North’s (1-0) Zachary Lynne had 17 digs and two aces, Daniel Dellane had 19 assists and Davie Correll had five digs.
Donovan Catholic 2, Manchester 0: Donovan Catholic’s Brendan Ryan had 13 digs and two aces and Christopher Eiserle had 12 assists and two aces. Manchester’s Kyle Pecora had nine kills and seven assists and Colton Hartnett had five digs and two assists.
