Huron Valley girls lacrosse took part in a tournament at Saline and faced Mercy in a non-KLAA game.

The week started Friday with a 16-6 loss to Mercy at Lakeland.

Mckenna Mesclier led Huron Valley with three goals.

Saline Invite

Huron Valley was back on the field the next day at the Saline Invite.

The day started with a 6-5 victory against Clarkston.

Mesclier struck for two goals, with solo tallies from Lauren Tenlen, Sarah Tenlen, Jenna Taylor and Brittney Leist.

“This game was a game that showed the Lady Titans in true form as the fierce competitors that they truly are,” coach Stephanie Anderson said.

Grand Ledge 9, Huron Valley 4

Next up was a match against Grand Ledge. The Lady Titans turned the ball over 14 times and couldn’t overcome the miscues.

Taylor led with two goals. Natalie Kerwin and Sarah Tenlen scored the others.

Saginaw Heritage 7, Huron Valley 4

The Lady Titans managed more shots on goal, but they fell short on the scoreboard in the final game of the Saline Invite.

Mesclier scored two goals and Leist and Lauren Tenlen each added a goal.
