Six high school boys basketball coaches and six girls coaches have been selected as Bob King Coaches of the Year by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
The boys winners:
Marty Beasley, Fort Wayne Carroll: Led Carroll to a 23-4 season that included a sectional title and runner-up in the Northeast Hoosier Conference. He is 211-155 in 16 seasons, including 142-90 in 10 seasons at Carroll.
Mike McBride, Churubusco: Led Churubusco to a 22-4 record, including a Northeast Corner Conference title. McBride is 77-79 in seven seasons at Churubusco and 113-128 in 11 seasons total.
Brent Brobston, Frankton: Led Frankton to a 26-3 record and a runner-up finish in Class 2A. He is 99-69 in seven seasons at Frankton and will be an assistant with the IndyStar Indiana Junior All-Stars.
Rick Peckinpaugh, McCutcheon: Directed McCutcheon to a 22-5 season and sectional title. He is 488-325 in 36 seasons, including 426 wins at McCutcheon.
Michael Adams, Evansville Reitz: Led Reitz to a 29-2 season and Class 4A state runner-up finish. Adams is 355-215 in 25 seasons, including 296-203 in 22 years at Reitz.
Brandon Hoffman, Silver Creek: Led team to a 23-3 record, including sectional and conference titles. Is 69-45 in five seasons at Silver Creek and will be a IndyStar Indiana Junior All-Star assistant.
The girls winners:
Rod Parker, Homestead: Led Homestead to a 26-3 record, including Class 4A state runner-up finish. Has a 216-107 record in 14 years with school. Will be head coach for IndyStar Indiana Junior All-Stars.
Marc Urban, Lake Central: Led Lake Central to a 22-4 season and sectional title. Has a 57-15 record in three years.
Donna Keck, Noblesville: Led Noblesville to a 23-4 record and sectional title. She has a 93-59 record in seven seasons with Noblesville and is 189-133 in 14 years overall.
Tod Windlan, Carmel: Led Carmel to a 17-8 record in first season at Carmel. Is 151-103 in 11 years overall with stops at Frankton, Anderson Highland, Delta, Hamilton Heights and Warren Central.
Mark Holt, Barr-Reeve: Led Barr-Reeve to a 28-1 season and Class A state runner-up finish. He is 196-77 in 12 seasons and was named IndyStar Indiana All-Star coach.
Kevin Moore, East Central: Led East Central to a 21-4 season and Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference title. Is 88-41 in six seasons with Trojans. Will be IndyStar Indiana Junior All-Star assistant.
