Amani “Mook” Harris, the younger brother of former Montverde (Fla.) Academy basketball star Dash Harris, has decided to attend Montverde. The Eagles are the defending Super 25 champions in boys basketball.
Mook Harris, from Inglewood, Calif., is an incoming freshman point guard (Class of 2019). Harris, who played in the Earl Watson Elite program in Southern California, has already impressed with his ability to attack the rim and also defend, as well as his competitive instincts.
Dash Harris was a four-year starter at Montverde and ranked as the No. 9 player in the state of Florida in 2008 as a senior before his college career at Texas A&M.
