Jaguars hosting a football safety clinic for moms

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jaguars are planning to host a special football clinic just for moms so they can learn techniques that can help their children stay safe while playing the sport.

The clinic will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 10:30 a.m. at EverBank Field. There is no cost to attend the clinic, but you must register at http://www.jaguars.com/foundation-community/foundation/momsclinic/.

The Jaguars will provide food, water, and Gatorade to all participants in the clinic. Bartram Trail High School head football coach Darrell Sutherland will be one of the instructors at this event. He is a USA Football Master Trainer for the Heads Up Football program which is a national initiative to make the sport better and safer.

For more information, watch the two clips below from Coach Sutherland’s recent appearance on “The Chat.”
