Senior James Kelly pitched a complete-game four-hitter as No. 23 seed Shore Regional knocked off No. 10 seed Barnegat, 2-1, on Wednesday in a Shore Conference Tournament preliminary-round game.
Shore (12-9) will play at No. 7 seed Manalapan in the round of 16.
Kelly (5-4) struck out eight.
Four Barnegat error led to the two runs for Shore.
Barnegat pitcher Tyler Hubley pitched a complete-game five-hitter and Bengals’ senior catcher Nik Fraim had his 100th career-hit.
Barnegat (14-9), which has lost three straight, will play Jackson Memorial (16-5) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Toms River East in the Ocean County Tournament championship game.

Manalapan 5, Donovan Catholic 4: Nick Surhoff’s single in the bottom of the eighth drove in Matt Kleeper with the winning run, gave the Braves (17-7) the win over the No. 26 Griffins (14-12) and capped a rally from a 4-0 deficit headed into the bottom of the seventh.
Stephen Carbonara’s three-run double with two strikes and two out in the seventh tied the game. Joe Ciaccio had a pinch-hit RBI single to plate the first run of the seventh.
SJ Vianney 3, Jackson Liberty 2: Victor Jamandron’s bases-loaded walk on a 3-2 pitch with two out in the bottom of the seventh plated the winning run as the No. 12 seed Lancers (12-6) defeated the No. 21 seed Lions (10-10).
Dan Schirmacher pitched a 1-2-3 seventh with a strikeout to pick up the win.
St. John Vianney will play at No. 5 seed Wall (18-5) in the round of 16.
Brick 3, Freehold Township 0: Brandon Weber and Nic Chirichello combined on a six-hitter and Matt Schleifer had an RBI single in a three-run fourth as the No. 19 seed Green Dragons (13-9) defeated the No. 14 seed Patriots (13-13).
Weber scattered six hits over 5 2/3 innings. Chrichello came on with two on and two out in the bottom of the sixth and retired all four men he faced to earn the save.
Brick will play at No. 3 seed Christian Brothers Academy (17-5) in the round of 16.
Marlboro 7, Pinelands 0: An infield single in the seventh was the only hit senior right-hander Andrew Nardi allowed as he struck out 15, walked two and faced the minimum 21 hitters and led the No. 11 seed Mustangs (11-8) to the win over the No. 22 seed Wildcats (11-10).
Mike Santaromita had a three-run double.
Marlboro will play at No. 6 seed Middletown South (16-7) in the round of 16.
TR South 6 Raritan 1: Senior Ray Liguori pitched five strong innings and helped his cause with a two-run home run into the trees beyond the left field fence at Toms River South’s Ken Frank Baseball Stadium, Trevor Wagner hit an opposite field homer over the roof in right-center and Jake Ryan homered to center as the No. 9 seed Indians (15-6) defeated the No. 24 seed Rockets (10-9).
Liguori’s homer, his third of the season, helped key a five-run third inning. Ryan’s homer, a solo shot, also came in the third.
Wagner’s homer came in the sixth.
Liguori struck out three, walked one and allowed just three hits. Senior right-hander Tyler Mellott worked two scoreless innings to close it out.
Toms River South will play at No. 8 seed Red Bank Catholic (16-6) in the round of 16.
Manasquan 6, Mater Dei Prep 3: Jack Sheehan went 3-3 with three RBI and Tommy Sheehan added a two-run double in the bottom of the second as the No. 15 seed Warriors (10-8) defeated the No. 18 seed Seraphs (15-6).
Senior Marc Galvan picked up his second win on the year and three Warrior pitchers limited the Seraphs to just two hits.
Manasquan will play at No. 2 seed Toms River North (15-3) in the round of 16.
Howell 11, St. Rose 1: Dan Matrisciano belted two homers and Connor Fey homered and went 2-for-4 with three RBI as the No. 13 seed Rebels (10-10) defeated the No. 20 seed Purple Roses (15-7).
Howell will play at No. 4 seed Jackson Memorial in the round of 16.
RB Catholic 17, Point Beach 1: Evan Madigan went 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBI and scored two runs, Chris Bender was 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and scored two runs, Aaron Ahn was 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBI and Mike Spinellui was 3-for-3 and scored two runs as the Caseys (16-6) defeated the No. 25 seed Garnet Gulls (12-7).

Wall 8, Midd. North 5: Nolan Cloney’s three-run homer capped a six-run third inning and Connor Metelski pitched a scoreless seventh to earn his first varsity save a day after he picked up his first varsity win as the Crimson Knights defeated the Lions (7-14) in a nondivisional game.
Jackson Memorial 12, Southern 0: Dave Harlinski threw a five-inning two-hitter to pick up his first win of the season, sophomore Connor Takacs made his varsity debut in right field and went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI, Kyle Johnson was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI and Kyle Lona and Chris Hawryluk both homered as the Jaguars (16-5) defeated the Rams (7-15, 4-9) in a Class A South game.
TR East 11, Brick Memorial 10: Junior catcher Connor Robbins hit a grand slam and junior center fielder Chad Leonard hit a three-run homer in an eight-run bottom of the second and freshman reliever Nick DeGennaro picked up his first varsity win as the Raiders (8-10, 6-8) defeated the Mustangs (12-13, 4-10) in a Class A South game.
Rumson-FH 3, Point Boro 2: Morgan Maguire drove in the winning run with a single in the bottom of the ninth and struck out 11 over the first six innings and Kenny Ferrare hit a game-tying two-run homer in the sixth as the Bulldogs (8-9) defeated the Panthers (10-12) in a nondivisional game.
Lacey 7, Manchester 5 Anthony Elefante was 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBI as the Lions (7-15) defeated the Hawks (8-13) in eight innings in a nondivisional game.
