Jaylen Brown isn’t wasting any time in his quest to cement himself as a California legend, quite a turn for a Georgia boy.

Just weeks removed from officially choosing to play his future basketball in Berkeley, Brown took on the so-called Based God curse, so-called because of Kevin Durant’s lack of titles after criticizing Lil B’s music. As noted by Sports Illustrated, the hex has also allegedly been placed on Houston Rockets star James Harden, whose “cooking dance” celebration may or may not have drawn on Lil B’s prior work.

So what does Jaylen Brown want with Lil B? He wants a game of 1-on-1, as soon as he can get it.

Here’s the tweet from Brown, the consensus No. 2 overall recruit in the class:

That snoozing emoji is cold, Jaylen. We just hope that an impromptu machup between Brown and Lil B can be arranged … and that it won’t constitute an NCAA violation when it comes to fruition.
