Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh seems to have a magic touch with quarterbacks, regardless of whether he brought them on.
And apparently, he wants more to work with in Ann Arbor than the four he has now.
Gilmer (Texas) football coach Jeff Traylor tweeted that Harbaugh plans to visit his uncommitted 2015 quarterback McLane Carter.
Jim Harbaugh coming to Gilmer to see McLane Carter. He has a pretty good eye for qb’s. Florida and Texas Tech just called as well.#Winner

According to NCAA rules, none of U-M’s staff members can see an unsigned prospect in person until Thursday, when the contact period begins.
Carter is listed at 6-feet-1 and 180 pounds and is not ranked by rivals.com. He posted wild numbers last season: 219-for-294 passing (74%), 3,979 yards, 48 touchdowns and two interceptions.
He would be the second QB in this U-M class — Birmingham Brother Rice’s Alex Malzone enrolled last week — and would join redshirt freshman Wilton Speight, junior Shane Morris and senior Russell Bellomy on the roster.
Bringing in another quarterback would not be surprising. When Harbaugh got to San Diego in 2004, his move was to take a fifth-year quarterback, Todd Mortensen from BYU, who played very well for him.
