Former Arkansas Razorback pitcher Trey Killian — a Norfork native and Mountain Home High grad — made his third appearance for the Grand Junction Rockies of the Pioneer League on Friday night.
Killian surrendered six hits and four runs over four innings for the Rockies in their 8-4 victory over the Helena Brewers. The right-hander struck out three to bring his season total to eight Ks.
Killian has a 4.50 earned run average, allowing seven earned runs through 14 innings pitched so far this season.
Grand Junction is 12-10 on the season, and the Rookie League team is just 3 games behind the Orem (Utah) Owlz for first place in the Pioneer League South standings.
