Xavier University signee Quentin Goodin scored 27 points and David Sloan added 22 to lead Taylor County High School to a 67-56 victory over Waggener on Tuesday in a consolation-round game of the Forcht Bank King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic at Fairdale.

The Cardinals (4-2) will face Owen County at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in a consolation-round semifinal. Waggener (4-3) will face Ballard at 9 p.m. in the other consolation-round semifinal.

Up 50-48 after three quarters, Taylor County outscored Waggener 17-8 in the fourth to pull away.

Jaalam Hill scored 18 points to lead the Wildcats.
