La Salle senior RB Jeremy Larkin (UC commit) was named to the MaxPreps National Football Player of the Year Watch List this morning.
This is the season’s first list for the highest individual award that MaxPreps will name at the end of the season.
Larkin, an Ohio Mr. Football finalist in 2014, has 61 carries for 739 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Lancers this season. He also has six receptions for 182 yards and two touchdowns.
La Salle (4-0) plays at Moeller (2-3) at 7 p.m. Friday at Lockland.

Larkin has been the key to La Salle’s early success, which finds it ranked No. 1 in the state of Ohio and all of the Midwest by MaxPreps. He has rushed for 739 yards on just 61 carries and has scored 10 touchdowns. He has scored four touchdowns in a game twice this season and had a high of 289 yards against Christian Brothers (Memphis, Tenn.).
