Khalan Laborn ran for 148 yards and four touchdowns, including three in the first half, to lead No. 10 Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach) to a 52-6 defeat Friday of Kellam (Virginia Beach). It was the first game of the season for Dolphins coach Chris Scott after serving a six-game suspension to open the season.
Laborn scored on runs of 4, 33, 8 and 4 yards for the No. 10 Dolphins (6-0). Tyler DeSue threw two first-half touchdowns passes to Jermaine Trotman, the first a 15-yarder and the other for 18 yards. Trotman had a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown called back for a penalty.
Justin Glasier connected with Trevon Thorpe for a 36-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter for Kellam (2-4).
It was the Dolphins’ second win in five days as they defeated Kempsville (Virginia Beach) 49-7 on Monday.
