The Landon School (Bethesda, Md.) has moved up to No. 2 and two new schools have climbed into the top five of the Super 25 boys lacrosse rankings provided by 3d Rising.

Landon, which was No. 4, won four games in five days, including an impressive 11-4 victory against Gilman (Md.)

Defending New York state champion Massapequa moved from No. 9 to No. 4 with victories against Class A foes Hicksville (15-2) and MacArthur-Levittown (16-4).

Deerfield (Mass.) Academy was unranked but opened the season with a thrilling 9-8 victory against  then-No. 5 Brunswick Academy (Greenwich, Conn.) and jumped all the way to No. 5. Brunswick fell one slot to No. 6.

The Haverford School remained unbeaten and at No. 1 in the Super 25 after rallying from six goals down for an 11-9 road victory against Gilman.

The McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) fell from No. 2 to No. 9 after a 12-10 loss to IMG Academy in Florida.

IMG is the lone newcomer to the Super 25 this week, entering the rankings at No. 20.
