Omro Dual: Jacob Lautenschalger won three events as the Omro boys defeated Berlin, 93-43, in a dual meet, while the Indians won the girls meet, 75-47, sparked by winning four of the five field events.
Lautenschlager led the way for the Foxes winning the 110-meter hurdles, high jump and triple jump. Ernie Gutierrez added wins in the shot put and discus for Omro, while the Foxes also got wins from Derek Tritt (100), Matt Hess (400), Andrew Wright (1,600) and Dillon Heise (3,200).
Omro also won the 1,600 and 3,200-meter relays.
Austin Johnson posted a pair of wins for the Indians, taking the 200 meters and long jump, while Josh Mack collected a win in the 800 meters. Berlin also won the 400- and 800-meter relays.
In the girls meet, Stacie Klika in the shot put, Julie Fleegal in the discus, Audrey Krueger in the long jump and Julia Silloway in the triple jump all posted field event wins for Berlin.
Stepganie Dansiezin (200), Alyssa Rhode (1,600) and Taylor Greening (3,200) also scored individual wins for Berlin, which also won the 400-meter relay.
Joelle Berger won a pair of events for Omro, placing first in the 100 and 400 meters. Kelly Hess (800), Sadie Huth (100 hurdles), Michell Roth (300 hurdles) and Ashley Buchholz (high jump0 also won for the Foxes, as did the 800- and 1,600-meter relay teams.
