Chaparral All-American wrestler Dane Drimmer is a two-time Regional champ, but still needs a state title

This story previously aired on 9NEWS at 10 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

KUSA – Chaparral High School wrestler Dane Drimmer is without a doubt one of the most exciting wrestlers in the state to watch.  He’s a two-time Regional champion, two-time state placer, been named All-American, is undefeated in Continental League duels – and has done it all without being able to see.  Sure, Drimmer may be legally blind, but he’s also doesn’t like that stop him from being one of the best wrestlers around.

9NEWS high school sports reporter Julia Lopez spoke with Drimmer about one thing he still needs to add to his wrestling resume: a state championship.
