Daniel Hunt scored 14 points and Rob Knab added 11 as the Liberty Common boys basketball team beat Fort Collins foe Heritage Christian Academy 51-38 Tuesday night.

Hunt had a double-double, pulling down 10 rebounds, while Josh VanVleet just missed out, scoring nine points to go with his 10 boards.

Luke Gilliland led Heritage Christian (4-6) with 13 points.

Liberty Common improves to 10-1.

FOSSIL RIDGE 64, MOUNTAIN RANGE 54 — Andrew Semadeni scored 17 points and Brady Menefee added 16 as Fossil Ridge fought back from an 11-point first-quarter deficit to win the Front Range League contest Tuesday night.

Six-foot-7 senior Ryan Quaid added 11 for the SaberCats (9-5, 3-0 FRL) who play Thursday at Greeley West.

Mountain Range’s Andrew Romero III led all scorers with 23.

BOULDER 54, POUDRE 30 — Mitchel Yokem scored 10 points, but the Impalas fell behind 13 points by the end of the first quarter.

Poudre (1-13, 0-3 Front Range League) hosts Northridge on Wednesday.

MONARCH 54, ROCKY MOUNTAIN 41 — Cam Erickson scored 13 points and Benji Williams pitched in 11, but it wasn’t enough to lift the Lobos at home Tuesday night.

The Lobos (1-13, 1-2 Front Range League) host Horizon on Friday.

RESURRECTION CHRISTIAN 76, FRONT RANGE CHRISTIAN 30 — Kyle Lahr scored 21, Luke Fick had 18 and Tanner Ervin added 13 as the Cougars cruised Tuesday night.

FORT COLLINS 71, LEGACY 44 — Brian Read had 18 points, Tristan Von Nieda had 12 and Eric Sultzman added 11 as the Lambkins won on the road for their third victory in a row.

Fort Collins is now 9-5 overall and 4-0 in Front Range League play.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

FOSSIL RIDGE 71, MOUNTAIN RANGE 22 — Brooke Pemberton scored 22 points, Kellee Willer added 12 and the SaberCats broke out from an 0-2 start in Front Range League play with the blowout win Tuesday night.

Fossil Ridge (9-5, 1-2 FRL) led 41-3 at halftime. The SaberCats host Greeley West on Wednesday.

POUDRE 50, BOULDER 12 — Anna Haugen paced the Impalas with 18 points Tuesday night, and Poudre’s stifling defense held Boulder to a scoreless third quarter.

Cecelia Berkner added 13 for Poudre (7-7, 2-1 Front Range League) which next plays Friday at Legacy.

LEGACY 47, FORT COLLINS 43 — Legacy’s Courtney Smith scored a game-high 23 points as the Fort Collins defense broke down in the second half Tuesday night.

The Lambkins (5-9, 1-2 Front Range League) led 26-17 at halftime, but managed only 17 second-half points and allowed Legacy (7-6, 2-0) to get to the free throw line, where they went 9-for-10 in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Karson Maintland led Fort Collins with nine points.

MONARCH 75, ROCKY MOUNTAIN 44 — Raegen Rohn scored 23 points as Monarch cruised past Rocky Mountain on Tuesday night in the Front Range League affair.

The Lobos (8-6) fall to 0-3 in FRL play and travel to Horizon on Friday.

WINDSOR 57, ROOSEVELT 21 — Amanda Ward scored 16, Alyssa Manicone added 10 and the Wizards reeled off their sixth straight win, four coming in the past five days.

Windsor (11-3, 5-0) led 28-8 at halftime.
