Favorite sports memory: I went to sectionals for track. I was running the final stretch. The guy next to me pulled away. I couldn’t keep up and I ended up in fourth place with a time of 2:00.44. He only beat me by around two seconds, but he ended up going to state and I didn’t. Its my favorite because it motivates me.
Advice to an athlete: Keep working! Sports can give back so much, you just have to put in the effort. Although It might be stressful at times and other obligations will start to stack, just keep whittling away at them. At the end of your senior year you will look back and be proud of all you’ve accomplished.
Inspiration: My dad always had a strong love for sports ever since he was in high school. He told me to always try my best, and I always did. It was a combination of his support and the support of all my friends and family that kept me going for as long as I have. I want to be my very best for them and myself.
College plans: I have been accepted and plan to attend UW Stout this fall with a major in Computer Game Design and Development and a concentration in Computer Science. I hope that a degree in Computer Science will open a lot of jobs for me in the future.
