Vermont will look to trim its all-time deficit vs. New Hampshire when the bordering states meet in next weekend’s doubleheader in the 41st Lions Twin State Soccer Cup.

The Granite State owns a 17-10-5 on the girls side and a 17-15-8 mark in the boys game in the longstanding rivalry that pits the state’s recently graduated high school seniors against each other.

Saturday, the girls game is set for 4 p.m., and the boys contest to follow at approximately 6:30 at Spartan Stadium at Castleton State College.

Last year, the Vermont boys won 4-1 to claim their third straight in the series, while a late goal helped the Green Mountain girls forge a 2-2 draw.
