9:40: It’s a final, 49-7.
9:32: Touchdown, Rockets. Dowdle is out but it doesn’t matter. Dorion Caldwell scored on an 8-yard run with 6:44 remaining for a 49-7 lead.
9:24: Clock is running now in the fourth quarter. Owen has a fourth and 8 at Reynolds 14. Harper rolls and throws a touchdown to Colby Maloney, who makes a catch falling down in the end zone with 10:20 left in the game. Point after is good. 42-7, Reynolds.
9:16: Dowdle throws a pass to Eunique Waters on first and goal from the 8 and Waters takes it in for a score. 42-0 with 3;40 left in the third quarter. There is little life on the Owen side of the field right now.
9:12: A big punt return for Talbert, more than 50 yards to the Owen 30. Rockets on the move again.
9:08: Owen on the move. Harper to Hooper for 27 and Harper to Hughey for 15. First down at the Reynolds 45.
9:05: Three and out for first time for the Rockets. Dowdle actually lost 3 yards on a run.
9:03: Reynolds has ball to start second half at its own 35.
8:42: Halftime. Reynolds up 35-0. Dowdle has scored three touchdowns.
8:41: Reynolds finally ends a drive without getting in the end zone. On fourth and 2 from 26, Dowdle has a pass dropped that would have been a first down on the 17. Rockets turn ball over with 1:17 to go before half.
8:32: Dowdle runs about 35 yards for an 11-yard touchdown. He starts up the middle, gets hit, goes to his right, then winds his way to the left corner. 35-0 Reynolds with 6:43 to go before half.
8:27: Fumble Owen. Harper loses the ball when he was about to be sacked for big loss. Reynolds’ Malik Long picks ball up and runs 30 yards to the Owen 18. No stopping the Rockets on both sides of the ball.
8:23: Touchdown Reynolds, again. Dowdle scores on 9-yard run up the middle. Lowers his shoulder at the 2 and dives into the end zone. 28-0 with 8:38 left in second quarter. the romp is on.
8:18: Owen punts on fourth and 16. Ball travels only 17 yards.Reynolds first on Owen 31 with 9:55 left before half.
8:12: Another touchdown for Rockets. Logan up the middle for 7 yards and a score but that was not the big play. On the Owen punt Keyal Talbert took the kick on his own 17, started down the left sideline and wound up on the right side, finally dragged down on the 7 after a 76-yard return. Rockets can’t be stopped by a team that gave up 48 and 47 points in first two games.
8:08: Shaqwan Jones breaks through untouched and throws Harper for 5-yard loss on third down to force an Owen punt from its own 45 at end of the first quarter. Rockets 14, Warhorses 0.
8:02: That was a 38-yard run by Jones. Logan preceded that with an 11-yard run. Fast and furious here.
8 p.m.: Touchdown Reynolds. Shaqwan Jones on a 49-yard run on the right side. 14-0 with 4:23 left in the opening quarter.
7:57: A.J. Logan had a 22-yard run called back because of a penalty.
7:54: Owen has two false start penalties on this drive and four penalties so far. Not a good start. Warhorses have to punt from their 33.
7:52: Dowdle had 44 of the 65 yards on that drive, 44 running and one with a 6-yard completion. He’s one of the best backs in the area and he showed it on that drive.
7:50: Touchdown, Reynolds. QB Rico Dowdle, who had more than 400 yards total offense last week, scores oon 14-yard run with 7:00 left in opening quarter. He set up the score with a 24-yard run. River Naisang added the extra point. 7-0.
7:44: Following a poor punt, Reynolds takes over for first time on the 50 with 9:06 left in the first quarter.
7:40: Owen called for personal foul, putting ball back on their own 40. On first and 25, QB DeMarcus Harper called for intentional grounding. Sack plus Penalty takes it back to 18. What looked for a nice drive is now a poor one.
7:39: Sidney Gibbs just had a nice 35-yard run to the Reynolds 45.
