CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In the wake of National Signing Day, it’s easy to look around the Charlotte area and see a plethora of football stars moving to the next level. What’s even more noticeable is the amount of talent staying inside North Carolina to continue their football careers. The young UNC-Charlotte program picked up commitments from several local players, while a handful of players are taking their talent to the triangle, signing with Duke, UNC, or NC State. Some star players chose schools in South Carolina, with Clemson and South Carolina State picking up several players in the Charlotte area.
